Olive Garden's Alfredo Sauce

This is a really rich, creamy, and flavorful alfredo recipe that only has 4 ingredients and supper fast and easy to make.  I have tried a lot of alfredo sauces and this one is the best!

1 cube butter (1/2 c.)
1 pint whipping cream (2 cups)
6 oz. grated parmesan cheese
1 package alfredo sauce mix

Heat all ingredients over the stove over low to medium heat stirring frequently so it does not burn.  Cook till it boils.  You can also double boil until the cheese is melted.  That's it!!!

I pour over fetuchini noodles and cooked chicken for a delicious meal.

This makes quite a large batch.  I half the recipe for my family.

Taco Salad

I learned about this type of taco salad at a Relief Society Women's Conference Broadcast.  The stake had a dinner before the broadcast and this was what they served.  We eat it a lot because it is so easy to make and everyone in the family can make their own type of salad depending on what they like to eat.

1-2 cans of Stagg Chili Chunkero Chili with Beans
Tortilla Chips
Shredded lettuce
Shredded cheddar cheese
Sliced green onions
Sliced olives
Sour cream
Salsa

Warm the chili up over low heat over the stove or in the microwave.  I put all the toppings on the table and everyone makes there own taco salads.  Very easy, healthy, and yummy.

Sweet-and-Sour Meatballs

These are very flavorful and easy to make.  This recipe is small and easily feeds our family of 5 with some leftover.  You may need to double if making it for a larger family.

1 pound ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/2 of one small onion, finely chopped
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1/4 c. milk
1 recipe Sauce for Meatballs (see below)

Combine all ingredients, except sauce,in a large bowl.  Form into balls about the size of a tablespoon to slightly larger.  Place on a foil-lined baking sheet and cook at 400 degrees for 15 minutes (longer if your meatballs are larger, check the middle of one to see if it is done).   Pour sauce over meatballs and serve.

Sauce For Meatballs

1 c. ketchup
1/2 c. grape jelly

Mix ketchup and grape jelly in a small saucepan.  Warm briefly over medium heat.  Pour over meatballs.
